Meet Our Staff
Interim Pastor Bob Benson
My name is Bob Benson. I am the Interim Pastor at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. I would like to take a moment to invite you to our services and also to tell you a little about myself.

I am originally from Buffalo NY and was saved on March 11, 1980 at the age of 28. I felt the Lord leading me to go to Bible school so in 1981 I moved to Sunbury and attended Bible Truth Institute and graduated in 1984. I pastored three churches over the course of 35 years, spending 26 years at my last church. I “retired” in 2019 and my wife Barbara and I moved to Clayton which is where she grew up. I am blessed to be a member of this church and doubly blessed with the opportunity to serve as Interim Pastor as we search for the next pastor of the church.

Please come and join us Sundays at 9:30 for Sunday School, 10:30 for Morning Worship and our Evening Service at 6:00. We also have prayer and Bible study on Wednesdays at 7:00 and Patch the Pirate program for children up through 6th grade. I look forward to seeing you here!
